I like so much the focus on the bird's eye, its pose with the slightly tilted head and the lighting on it.

This has to be one of my favorite birds even though I have only seen one for real once. Wonderful shot of the Hoopoe in a marvelous pose. Excellent colors and details. I love that crest and the beak.

Radz, Looks like over the years of shooting you are getting closer to the birds and the birds are getting closer to you. Otherwise I cannot imagine a full frame shot of Hoopoe without a hide.
