bonjour a tous.
info .

Hello everyone.
I know that this picture is not at the top but green woodpecker came arise briefly in the bottom of my garden, about 10 metres.bien course it would have been better presented on a tree, but it was he who chooses !
I hope he will have the opportunity to go visit again.

Salut Laurent,
amicalement,
Pat

Hi Laurent,
It is very difficult to shot this birds. They are so shy and fast and difficult to spot when they are on the ground (grass). I also have one in my gallery that is on the ground eating ants. Good compo and pov and a great wildlife shot of this male.

Bonsoir Laurent,
Of course it was a "must" to make this picture and post here.
This one makes honor to its name, the subtle green hues of ots feathers are so beautiful.
You were so lucky to be able to get the camera ready to make this shot.
It seems today is the woodpeckers afternoon, I already saw a yellow specie just before yours.
Felicitacions et merci du partager.
Mes amities,
JM

Bonsoir Laurent,
amicalement

Hi Laurent.
Don't worry. Picture is very good considering the subject distance and absence of teleconverter. I know what I say. Excellent scene, beautiful bird and attractive its pose, perfect composition. I like wonderful lighting and colours. Details of the shot are excellent. May be bird image is not crisp sharp but it is not a point at all. Bravo and TFS.

Hi Laurent,
I recently took a similar shot to this of a Green Woodpecker that flew into the grass a few metres away... it's not as good as this though!
+++ The POV is top-class and leaves enough BG to be effectively blurred causing the woodpecker to stand out.
Great contrast, lighting and exposure.
Gorgeous colours.
--- Nothing :D
Well done my friend,
Joe

Congrats my friend, I wish it´s mine. ;-))
I know the green woodpecker very good. But I have no shot! :-( What a difficult bird.....
Laurent, this is a great shot. Great sharpness, POV and colours too. This is an excellent composition. Thank you.

Hello Laurent

A very good image of this species of woodpecker, I am not familiar with this one.
The colours are rich and well saturated.
The focus is sharp with very good plumage detail.
Well placed in the frame.

Bonjour Laurent
Amicalement Robi

Superbe très belle composition et belles couleurs.
Bravo

Bonsoir Laurent,
This is a good opportunity taken well, even if the Green Woodpecker is classically captured on a tree. The quality of this shot is pretty good, despite the 10 meters distance and the composition. lighting and colours are excellent.
Merci et bien weekend,
Amicalement,
Ivan

Hello Laurent,

Buona foto, Laurent!
