[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This I believe to be Papilio memnon. After trying to work out what this critter was I had an insight into the crafty world of butterfly cloaking thanks to a post from joey. Argus rightly pointed to this species, which apparently hide themselves as many different types of butterfly. I had no clue as to this phenomenon.
Continued learning once again through all of your help.

Very nice shot, great symmetry. The leaf also gives a good overall impression and fills the photo with some light.

Thanks for sharing.

Excelente formato y buen ecuadre de los elementos. Pose perfecta, sobre todo para su
identificación, con buen enfoque a las alas.
Bonito conjunto.
Saludos Jai.

Very nicely done....the flash worked good for your presentation, bring out sharply the patterns and totally throwing the background out as it should be. Well done Amiga...oooops amigo:-)

Hello Jai, good work. colurs, BG and composition have come out ver well. POV could have been better, but then we do not know how the ground was set? :-).

Warm regards,

Kiran

Another nice butterfly shot glenny. good asymetrical composition makes best use of the frame.

Hi Jai,
perfectly composed and a great job on the cropping too. Your DOF is spot on and the colours are very natural looking. Well done mate.

Hello Jai,
this is a fine capture of this beautiful butterfly.
+++ Excellent composition and a simple POV that works very well.
The sharpness is excellent and there is significant detail throughout.
Great DOF aswell.
--- The only aspect of this photo that is a negative is the OE stick in the BG that distracts the eye from the butterfly's head. I did a workshop to show how you can eliminate it, (not that you wouldn't already know how to!) ;)
This is a stunning capture nontheless!
Well done,
Joe

Hello Jai
Wonderful butterfly! Exuberant colors!
Excellent sharpness and contrast.
Pleasant composition.
Congratulations for the wealth of details.
Thanks for sharing!

José Roberto
