[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The photo was taken at the De Wildt Cheetah and endangered Wildlife Research Centre near Pretoria South Africa. The animals at this centre is raised to increase their numbers in the wild and where possible animals like cheetahs and wild dogs are put back into the wild. This specific cheetah is not kept in a cage like a zoo animal but roams relatively free at the centre although they do not hunt for food but is fed daily.

The photo was taken during a game drive through the main camp of the research centre and the animal was about 15 metres away from me.

Nice pose, especially with the mouth. Nice eye contact and speaking of eyes, very detailed. The background is a bit busy, but I still love the photo. Looks like you may have been too far back to get a soft background, but the cheetah itself is nice and clear. Nice job on her/him.

Great lighting and color you've captured here...really very nicely done. The beautiful coat of this Cheetah really comes through nicely and so does the power and grace. Very nicely done.

Like the full frame, gives the cat your full attention, or close to it, the background is a tad busy, but it is wildlife and therefore you gets what you sees sometimes, so well done!
