shooting birds is very tough task and this i realised when i tried it and was not at all happy with the quality i got and then i could realise what it takes for a decent bird shot which you have posted here so many times, this one too is a lovely bird shot like your other posts, liked the way you have composed it, lovely lighting, nice pov, sharp image with good details of the plumage,

Beautiful details and an excellent pose. : )
I know that they are unpopular birds among birders, as they are very aggressive and undermine local bird populations, but I find their plumage quite striking.

extra,j'ai vu un reportage a midi sur les degat qu'occasionnent les etourneaux dans la ville de limoge mais lorsque l'on voit une image aussi bien detaillée et avec autant de reflets je ne vois pas comment on pourrait les chasser.

Hi debz. Missed this one sorry. A lot of people dont like starlings because they can be so gready at bird food tables . but i do like the colours in the feathers, which you have captured so well. a good pose in the tree. with fine detail . well done TFS. good notes too.

Oooh this is a nice one Deberoh! Look at those colours! Sometimes they get a bit of a bad press, but personally i think they are one our most beautifully marked birds, even if they are (or were it now seems) fairly common. Excellent composition, sharp detail and welll exposed. Great job.

As pesky as these are, I like how you captured the iridescence . Very nice POV and perch he is on.
As for footless on the water...well sometimes we want to show the details a bit larger perhaps, and have to sacrifice something
