Bonjour Marie,

Désolée d'apprendre la maladie de ta maman. C'est souvent malheureusement plus dur pour les proches que pour les malades eux-mêmes.
Très belle photo.
Tendres pensées pour toi et ta maman.
Reviens-nous vite, TN peut peut-être un échappatoire pour toi pour souffler un peu de temps-en-temps car c'est une très lourde maladie à supporter.

Dear Marie,
Our thoughts are with you during this difficut time and this beautiful picture is well expressed without colour, like the way you feel for your mother at present. Alzheimer's gives more sorrow to close relatives than to the one that has the desease at the later stages, but I know that this is little comfort.
One can only try to think positively at this negative time.

We can critique photo, but we can't critique feelings and mood. This picture is image of your feelings and your mood, and we can only accept it. My mother died at the end of October, it was many years ago, but I still remember my feelings...

I've often heard the days of alzheimer patient caretakers referred to as the 48 hour days. My father in law suffers from Parkinson and dementia and it's very hard on everyone. I wish I could find a way to take away the pain.
We care. You and your family will be in my prayers.

Marie,

I am so sorry to hear about your mother - it must be so hard for you and your family. TN is a strange place; we pass comments on people's pictures and they pass comments on ours and, although we never get to the meet the people we're communicating with, some do become important to us. You have many friends on TN, people you have never met, but who feel for you nonetheless. And I do love the picture.

Bonjour Marie,
Je viens tout juste d'aprendre ce qui se passe dans ta vie présentement. Mes premières pensées vont à toi et ton entourage qui doit composer avec la maladie de ta mère. Ce doit être difficile à vivre de devoir se résoudre à voir partir une personne qu'on aime. Ne plus être reconnu par celle qui nous a donné la vie je ne peut qu'immaginer ce que ce doit être... Je te souhaie la meilleure des chances à toi et tes proches.

Quand je regarde ta photo j'y voit qu'il y a quelque chose de plus grand que nous sur cette terre. Elle me donne espoir qu'un jour tout le bien qu'on fait autour de nous nous sera d'une façon ou d'une autre rendu...
Je te laisse sur deux couplets d'une chanson de Diane Dufresne... des mots qui j'espère pourront te réconforter en pensant bien-sûr à ta mère qui s'est fait «voler» ses souvenirs et aussi à toi Marie que les souvenirs heureux avec ta mère sauront la faire vivre éternellement dans tes pensées... :-)

Una pena que estés pasando por este duro momento, si bien estamos lejos en la distancia comprendemos todo el dolor que debes sentir y te acompañamos de corazón.
En cuanto a la foto, es una pintura, transmite muy bien ese estado de ánimo, me pareció así incluso antes de leer la nota. Creo que es una de tus fotos que transmite más sentimientos.
