Very intriguing . I remember well Tom Tinkos pictures. I used to ask him if he lived at the place. He might have had a job waiting for him to ask.
A fine picture and super saturated in a particular blue which I love when in water. It reminds me of the Bahamas or perhaps Belize...Very nice picture taken at the exact right distance and with glass between you and it:-)

Hello James,
Beautiful capture with great details and lighting. These beautiful jellys our some relative anyway, caused some great discomfort to my wife and I when we were on Cozumel a few years back. Had I known what I know now, that you can get relief by urinating on the sting that MAY have happened.

I trust your trip was nice and i see you've come back with some great photos, too :)
This is indeed a magnificent sight and those jellyfish are, i must admit, some very attractive subjects! Their vibrant colors and the "contrast" with the blue water really jumps out of the screen and brings a lot of attention to your shot, even from teh thumbnail.
The composition you have created is also great and interesting, while the details are very nice and sharp, despite the rather long shutter speed and the fact that they were mooving (i guess).
Anyway, charming work!

I love underwater photography and wonder why there are so few shots of this kind on TN. Anyway this is a super shot from the Aquarium, these jellyfish are really magnificent and very well captured through the glass. Wonderful colours and great sharpness. Well done!

Yes the jellyfish display is special there! One time they had special exhibition with lots of tanks. It was fabulous. That is a nice aquarium. Did you know that people can book the aquarium for special events like private parties, weddings etc. Wouldn't a wedding if front of that giant tank be memorable?

This is a fantastic image. I love the framing of the tentacles and those two vibrant jellies rushing downward. It is just wonderful.

Hmmmm so they have nettles in the sea too!The regular,garden variety have been my nemesis my whole life,so I guess I best stay clear of these too.
The colour contrast is striking and the composition is quite artistic.
