One of the great dunes easy to see going from Sesriem to Sossusvlei. The scenery is fantastic specially in the early morning and before the sunset.
Visit the Namib is always a great emotion even if the tourists continue to increase.
__
The most spectacular way to reach Sesriem, the gate to entry the Namib desert, from Windhoek is via C26 an then via D1275 by the Spreetshoogte pass. It takes 6 hour drive.
From Sesriem is easy to go toward Sossusvlei with the car for about 65 km where there is a parking area.
On this road you con see huge dunes and the famous Dune 45 (45 km from the entry).
From here is possible drive to Sossusvlei only by your own 4x4 car or by a shuttle big jeep 4x4.
An interesting alternative is go walking for about 4-5 km. |

Bellissima foto e soprattutto bellissimo posto!
Bei colori.
ciao Tom
Ciao Aldo,
credo che sia uno dei luoghi pił fotogenici della terra e tu ne hai saputo cogliere il meglio con lo splendido contrasto tra il rosso della sabbia e l'ombra scura.
Bravissimo!
Gio
this is a wonderful photo, I love the play of light and shadow, and the colors in the light areas. Good use of foreground and trees to show scale
