Philippines White-Breasted Sea Eagle
Shot taken at Philippines Wildlife Park. I was focusing to him while he was up on the tree. He saw my shininy camera and he flew, landing very close to me. Observing what I was trying to poke into their cage.
I was not able to use flash because it is not allowed. It was quite dark under the shade of the trees. Good thing that this bird is not camera shy and graced me with a beautiful pose for closeup. :) |

Lucky you... to get him to pose so nicely. I hope you would post a photo showing the whole bird. I have not seen this creature before. The focus is a bit soft but still a nice shot. Pity the point of the beak is cropped so tight. Do you know what the latin name is for it?
