| Shot taken at Wyvenhoe Dam about 50 miles inland from Brisbane. The spider I belive is the Nephila Edulis one of the Golden Orb Weaver type which is one the largest in Australia. The web is strong enough to hold a small bird in the net. |

Quello che colpisce di pių sono le dimensioni del suo addome, rispetto a quelle del cefalotorace.

Nice shot. The spider is focussed well. Sharp image. But I think it wud have been many times more beautiful if the angle at which the shot was taken was chosen such that the background was more interesting. If the shot was taken from little below, I think the spider in the backdrop of totally white sky wud have been more interesting. Or if it were taken from little above, then the green grass cud also have been more beautiful.
