This one looks perched on Buckwheat...is that what it is? A long bird...sort of what the equalization in mens pants..long waisted.....gives him stature and regal appearance.

Hello Rick,
Nice capture of a Western Kingbird in great lighting and with good sharpness. The bokeh BG really lets it stand out in this superb composition.
Nice one from the summer of a species new to me, though I have seen the E. Kingbird long before I took up photography.

A lovely image of this bird.Excellent POV and DOF.
The bird is well focused against a lovely OOF BG.
The lighting is well done,and the colours are natural and well saturated.
nicely composed in the frame,you have captured very good eye contact.
These kingbirds are much more colourful than the Eastern Kingbird.
