Superb and Impressive, Sabine!
Marvellous capture of this Egret having a yawn. great sharpness and detail and and excellent composition, all of which make this a unique and fascinating image.
BTW: the Snowy Egret is an American species.

This is the Little Egret (Egretta garzetta) in breeding plumage and your fine shot of the whole bird confirms this with its black legs and yellow feet.
