[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I know a lot of folks don't like pigeons, calling them feathered rats and all... but I happen to like pigeons. They are beautiful and I find their antics amusing. They can't help that human habitate is perfect pigeon habitat, too. So here is another pigeon on another day, on another rock... all different from my previous posting Pigeon on the Rocks.

Hello Mish,
Beautiful bird well captured in brilliant vivid details. Great sharpness right to the tail - well done!
Regards,
Jusni

Hi Mish!

You're right, they can look fine. I like them too but not the "dust" they leave in front of the door... :) I think for many people this could be the reason to have a bad relationship with them. It took time for me to learn not to blame them but those responsible for cleaning up when they don't.
Thanks for showing us yet another pigeon to look fine! A closer look can sometimes change one's mind... TFS!

Best regards,
Andor

Hello Mish
I have to park under a tree at work which in the spring is home to a family of woodpigeons and daily I get the equivalent of 3 or 4 bowls of weetabix over my car!!
But like you I do like pigeons..they have as you say just evoloved very well to differing environments..And you cant knock them for that!!
This fellow is a fine one and you have captured him superbly..the sharpness is spot on and does his beauty justice.
All the Best
Paul

Hi Mish.
What a nice true three-dimensional shot of the cute bird. Its details are stunning. Amazing sharpness, exact and nice rich colours, great DOF and interesting cropping. My compliments and TFS.

Hi Mish,

I remember pigeons as pests when I lived in the northeast. None here - just lots of doves. This is a beautiful close-up with wonderful natural colors and excellent details of the face and plummage. I love the eye!
