For macro shots the shutter speed shoud be high but here f/ 7.1 has not favoured for DOF as the 1/800 speed is very good, here the hanging LEG is a bit OUT rest is Ok..

A wonderful captured moment. The mantis is looking straight at you and the direct contact with the lens is striking. Colours are good as well as the pose. It looks as if this mantis is doing some kind of dance on the flower. The blue of the sky, the yellow of the flower and the green of the mantis blends in well with one another. Fine posting. Thanks for sharing.
