Sesiidae - Sesiinae - Synanthedonini.
Host plant:
The larva bores into the rootstock of Euphorbia esula or Euphorbia salicifolia.
The adults fly in May and June. They are active during daytime.

I Sesiidae non sono facili da fotografare, sia per le loro piccole dimensioni, sia perchè non stanno mai fermi.
