Great shot Jaap!
I tried to "catch" such blue fellow last weekend, but without much success. He sit still for such short time that I even wasn't able to get closer and get the right POV and composition.
This shot is really good. Tops of the wings are a bit OOF, but that doesn't matter at all cause the rest is very good.
I like it very much.

Jaap, you did well capturing this beauty. Excelent work and I know it can be frustrating, you all ready to take the shot, gone, get up again and setup the shot, over and over, but it is rewarding eh? Just like this one. Excelent composition.

Hee Jaap!

Voor mij is dit echt de allermooiste vlinder die we in NL hebben. Deze vlinder zat in de eerste post die ik ooit van jou zag op TE en ik was meteen verkocht. De koning van de macros, dat blijf ik zeggen. :) Er zit wel een minpunt aan deze foto en dat zijn de 'platte' bloemen. Al het details is weggeslagen (m.a.w.; er zit geen diepte meer in) en dat komt door overbelichting. Heb je een invulflits gebruikt? Zo ja; dan ligt het daar aan. Zo nee; dan is de sluitertijd te kort geweest. De details op de vlinder zijn verbluffend goed en daar gaat het toch om.

Stunning colors, RAZORsharp details on the butterfly, brilliant POV, excellent DOF. Too bad that the flowers are burnt and look flat. Well done on the composition. Again a fantastic macro from your hand Jaap. Keep up the good work. TFS!

It's common in our region, but it's difficult to approach it enough, like you did.

You certainly know how to capture a great composition. Perhaps the yellows are a bit burnt and the focus is slightly soft on the wing edges (moving perhaps), but its a very attractive image, well done.

Goedemorgen Jaap,
Opnieuw een van uw hoogstandjes, waardoor ik uw op het hoogste niveau heb leren kennen, ik voel de zachtheid van de vlinder tussen mijn vingers zo mooi is dit gedaan, wat de bloemen betreft, dit was hier niet de hoofd moot, dus 100% voor mij!
