Bonnet macaques also called as common indian monkey or langur is found in plenty in Bangalore around the bannergatta national park, if you go to the butterfly conservatory, you are infact greeted by a few families of these primates who prey on the food you carry.
This particular one is intersting, there was so much commonality between human and how monkeys take care of their younger ones, This young fella was trying to run away and his mother was pulling him back to her folds, it was quite a site. I managed to take a few pictures. |
