| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Cross-country skiing in Cypress Park in the mountains north of Vancouver today I was on the look out for gray jays and ravens. These guys are very sociable and beg for pieces of sandwiches. I tried to get a shot one perched on the tips of my skis, but he wouldn't cooperate. This image is more "au naturele". |

Hi John,
I have seen those birds only once and they are not shy at all. They used to come on picnic table and steal food... This is a beautiful specie that you captured well. Even if focus seems to be a little more on its chest than on its head, this remains a beautiful capture. They are very nice birds and I like this composition. Thanks,
