Hi Mario,
Early morning is a good time to see moths, especially if you can find somewhere near wooded countryside where there is overnight lighting. I remember an electricity sub-station in Brunei that was floodlit at night and always had an amazing "catch", including some enormous beetles, most mornings. Best will be after a night with no moon.
Your picture represents the moth well and is a welcome addition, even though, as suggested above, it would benefit from a little sharpening. Thanks.
Alan

Hi Mario,
the picture shows an interesting and rarely seen and truly spectacular Polyphemus moth. Maybe you can crop the pic somewhat to make the body more excentrical, and sharpen it. The background is a problem: too much contrast, too colored. In a similar situation I'd have no scruples: I would transfer the bugger to another place. Thank you for sharing the pic in TN.
best regards
Dietrich
