[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Sparrows are most common birds in Romania. They do not have any special song and no special colored plumage. We might say there are really dull birds.

All this is changing if we watch that what might be there social life. Sparrows interact all time one with other. They gather when find food, bath together in dust when hot and fly in flocks.

It was a sunny winter day when I met this small gang of sparrows. Despite the cold weather bird were bathing in the small brook of melting snow water. Shining sun and the lively activity of the gang made me think at the coming spring.

Definitely sparrows are not dull birds.

This is funny because I took a similar picture this week! It is still very cold here but one day as the weather was mild, I saw Sparrows doing the same thing with the snow in BG and everything :) You chose a good shutter speed to freeze their funny movements. The picture is a little dark but still very agreeable to look at :)! Thanks,

I agree you you totally about the social life of sparrows. They seem to have more time to play than the other birds. Sparrows nest in my garden and dust bathe in my flower borders.

This is a glorious image. It is full of life and the poses are wonderful. They are full of character. Lovely frozen action
