[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This one was taken on advice of my dearest friend on a trip to Bötisheim in the north of Germany who noticed this beauty on a lake. It was in the early evening. My friend climbed over a fence and helped me to get there too to get this shot from a close distance. The swan was on a lake not longer lit by the sunlight, but the bird seemed somehow to glow by itself.
The Swan and his partner were pairing - at least I think so.
Post processing: Just increased the shadows to make the structure of the water disappear

Hello Britta -

This is a nice image but it really is under exposed. I will post a WS to brighten. I think removing all of the water texture was not a wise choice because it leaves the image with no reference. It really looks like the Swan is floating in space. Just my opinion.
