Hello Tobias,
This is a fine portrait of the swan!
Good point of view to capture a clean profile, fine details in the plumage...
Good sharpness and fine colour reproduction, maybe the tip of the beak is too close to the edge of the image?
Greetings,
Pablo -
Hi Tobias,
As it was already said, this is a good portrait with good exposure, details and lightning. If I can make a suggestion, you could maybe have used a slower shutter speed and this way you could have used smaller aperture which would have brought out more details (even if they are already good)... The other thing is that it would have been better with its whole beak in the frame but the picture is still nice and agreeable. Thanks,
Claudine
PS, was the camera settled on automatic?

Hallo Tobias
The place were you have taken this photo sounds so peaceful according to your notes. I can imagine that everybody going there are just at peace and enjoying themselves. Very good close-up of this swan. It is a pity the end of the beak fades away slightly. Never the less a well presented image. I never get bored from looking at portraits, so beautiful and close. Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards
Anna

Hello Tobias,
I see you've already received some tips on what you might do better next time..Suffice to say then, the image has some good details. You've also taken a good POV, and I like the catchlight in its eye..
And perhaps it would be better to leave the beak tip in your presentation? Also, you will always have a lower success rate when using auto mode. In difficult lighting situations, the camera cannot compensate adequately.
TFS!

Hello Tobias,
Very good exposure and focus in this shot, if include the full view of the beak will be even better, only a opinion!
good sharpness, beautiful colour and details
well done

Hello Tobias,
The title describes this swan very well. Very nice close up and well seen image. However, the crop is a bit too tight to my taste. Very well done and tfs.

Hi Tobias.
I like your attempt to take portrait shot. Your model is so charming and calm. I'll mark few points. You have used pattern metering mode. I it not the best choice for contrast object. Part of the had is OE a bit. Second, the framing also is not so exact. Tip of beak is cut. However, I welcome your experience and my best wishes.
Alexei.

Hi Tobias,
A beautiful captured portrait of this beautiful swan. Excellent composition and details. Thanks a lot for sharing.
PS: In my view it would have looked much better if you would have kept a little more neck portion.
