Critiques [Translate]

Hello Rajib,

I feel you had a natural reflex when shooting this Flamingo by making a horizontal centring (we often shoot for fear of not shooting). This lead you to cut the feet of the bird and enclose the bush of the left (for keeping to the golden rules), which doesn't have anything to do in the picture and doesn't bring anything valuable.

Same critique for your picture "robin" : why cut the tail ? You centered the image right in the body of the bird. The rule is :
1. focus on the eye, keep the focus
2. re-center the image (in "robin" case : keep the branch out)
3. consider a vertical picture

I know by experience that the stress leads us (also my self) to shoot too quick. I learned and tested that a first reflex has to be followed, but wait !!!! maybe you've got a second chance to shoot again and improve your take !

Don't be easily satisfied and shoot again. Change POV, DOF, speed, aperture, centering... as long as the subject doesn't fly away.

I'll do appreciate your comments.

Friendly regards,

Kibwana
