[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [Dutch]
This is the Frosty funnel (clitocybe phyllophila). I made this wonderful mushroom during my visit in november 2007 to the Staelduinsebos. I take the photo upwards, so you can see the underside. Handheld made. I hope you like this compo. I didn't know the ID of this mushroomd. My cordial thanks to L. Brand. He's found the ID of this mushroom. Thanks for looking.

Very nicely done and super focused...you are quite the contortionist able to get down that low and still focus so well...it reminds me much of 30 years ago for me...and now I even walk so slowly due to pain...but I envy you and your work is most fine!
Bob

Hello Bob,
An impressive mushroom!
Good pooint of view diplays the details very well, sharp and fine reproduction...
A well balanced composition and the leaves underscore the season, good colours!
Greetings,

Hallo Bob,

groet Gert

Hello Bob

Very interesting low POV for this shot.
The cap shows well with very good focus and sharpness.
Well lit with natural colours.

Great shot - excellent POV with outstanding colours and detail. Well observed and captured.

Well done Bob,
Fungi like this always look impressive from this angle.
I see you've been photographing a few fungi lately. I'll have to take a good look through your photos that I've missed.
Nice work.

Hello Bob,
Very nice capture of this fungus! I love the low POV and the sharp details of the gills. Beautiful background of autumn leaves and good natural colours in this very fine composition.
Many thanks, Ulla

Hi Bob,
This is such an interesting POV. I have the impression of being an insect in a giant world ;)! You caught great details in good composition and exposure. I always find it hard to photograph mushrooms :) Well seen!
Claudine

Hello Bob,

I would have loved to see you taking this shot!

I think it is excellent! Great pov, and sharply exposed. It reminds me of an umbrella that has been blown inside-out!
The dead leaves give me a good idea of the size of this fungus!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

What a great mushroom. It looks like a giant from that point of view. When I put your image on my desktop it is much more saturated than it looks on TN. Do you convert to sRGB color before uploading. You might try darkening the image a bit before you upload it. I really like the curly leave all around the base.

Evelynn : )

Hello Bob,
I like the POV and details seen in the gills..
Great DOF, color, and a well managed exposure also.
Nice work,
Howard

Hi Bob
You sure have some unique looking fungi in your collection of images. I like how you got down to show the underside of the mushroom including the curled up leaves. Nice detail, lighting and colour.
