what a fine light you have captured this heron in.There is very good detail in this first photo and the drops of flying water are great to have captured giving this photo much eye appeal.The workshop photo is also a very fine looking capture as well illustrating the title you used well for these photos.Tfs. What a stunning shot Evelynn! The reflections are wonderful as is the "action" pose. Super photo, the colors are lovely with that splash of green in the background. The light seems to almost glow off his wings, well done.

Amazing in every respect picture. Pose and posture of the bird wings are great as well as great is it mirror reflection in the water. Timing and DOF are perfect as well as the details an sharpness of the entire image. However, key point of the shot is amazing subject. Bravo.

Lovely composition showing a beautfiul reflection in the water. With his wings all open, he looks a bit like a big open umbrella in the water!

Your timing is perfect. I think the attitude of the heron magnificent. His loot off-limits to other (hunter)birds. Nice natural colors. Very sharp with fine featherdetails. The reflection in the water of the bird and the reed/grass is wonderful.
