“Slowing Down” is the name of this photo taken today in beautiful Bowring Park. This colorful male mallard duck is slowly putting on the brakes as he’s getting ready to land. His colors are more pronounced in the sunshine.
The parameters of a shot are as follows:
-Action mode
-shutter speed 1/1600
-F. stop 7.1
-I S O 400
-Focal length 98 MM
As you can see from the photo, there is still ice in the duck pond and we’re getting twenty more centimeters of snow tonight and tomorrow. Will winter ever end? |
