[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This flower is academically called Rhododendron dilatatum and is a fallen leaf bush of the
ericaceous azalea belonging.
And, this grows to the coppice in a chiefly thin ridge, rock, and hometown mountain etc. Five is a big feature on this seed though an androecium is ten in many of other azaleas. It is also planted from of old as the garden tree.
The leaf comes out after the flower ends. This name was given from attaching of three leaves the branch ahead.
I took this picture at Koishikawa Botanical Garden.

Hi Mikio,

The flowers from your photo are very beautifull. The colors are great and the contrast between flowers and backgrount is unusual. Lighting conditions are some how surprising but all together makes a good image.

Thank you for sharing,
Cristian
