This is a fine capture of a striking species of Babbler, the Arrow-marked. The sharpness, pose and POV show the characteristics well against a suitable OOF BG, especially the flame-coloured eye.

Congratulations! We have never had the opportunity to capture one of these birds. They would just drive us crazy with their calling but never came close enough for a photo. You lucky fish! What a most beautiful bird, jam packed with patterns, markings and delightful colours, not to mention that bright yellow eye with the red circle. I really like the sight of this one, in fact I think this is the closest and most detailed sight of one of these birds I have ever seen. So I’ll repeat myself – Congratulations – And thank you for digging into your old archives. You have captured this beauty with excellent skills, and presented a super focused, neatly framed and most delightful image. Pretty pose of this good-looking bird. Thanks for sharing.
