Sharp shot of this Common Pierrot!
The DOF is slightly too shallow but in the focused areas such as the head and forewing are incredibly detailed.
Bold colours and stark contrast.
I love the smooth, muted BG.
Great off-centre composition.

Hi Jitty

Beautiful capture of this common Pierrot. Very interesting to note the fake antennae (or whatever it is called) at the back of the butterfly and the black and white socks it wears.

You have captured excellent sharp details (pity the DOF lost out at the tip of the antennae though), and the colours are splendid. The well isolated BG is fabulous and makes the insect stand out in the frame and the composition is fine.

Una muy bella foto, me gusta la composición, como le dejaste "aire" a la derecha y la buena definición. Solo tal vez pra mencionar el ala inferior se ve algo borrosa, aunque no me doy cuenta a que se debe.
