great composition! lovely degree of colours in the sky, great POV (vertical taken from the ground... interesting idea) and DOF. I like those natural colours. I don´t know if the flowers has that dark violet... if not, a little more of light would be great, because they get a bit lost with that amazing blue sky

Hi Ori

A lovely capture of this rare and protected flower. I love how the inflorescence reaches upwards and how the purple flowers stand off against the deep blue sky. I can see quite a number of these plants in the BG and I believe you when you say "Thousands of inflorescences at this place are a marvellous sight".

I like the vertical composition focusing only on the two specimens and showing only a limited view of the surrounding habitat, thus focusing ones view on the subject. The colours are very natural and the exposure was well controlled as usual with your shots.
