[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was a lot of fun to photograph because I had to deal with direct sun, slabs of ice, and water that sparkled as a result of the bright sun! Still, this fellow captured my attention as he washed his dinner repeatedly. After he washed it, he seemed to swallow it whole (seemed, mind you) and then dove down to get another handful. He repeated this several times - and as you can see, he is out in the water. Given the ice, and the fact I don't have a boat (not to mention the desire not to get my camera wet), I had to do the best I could from shore. I had to check twice to make sure he wasn't a beaver - his tail gave it away - but he has large front teeth - you'll see those later. I hope you enjoy - I've named him Compulsive due to his desire to clean everything a thousand times!
