[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
here we have an american corn snake busy hatching. the shell of the egg is leathery. if you look carefuly you will see "cuts" in the shell. the hatchling has a "tooth" on the tip of his snout to slice the shell.
picture was taken with my old sony H1.
the black X marks are just markers used to keep the eggs in the same position as they were laid in or the snaklings will drown.
