My aunt and uncle used to live in your area of this photo...but that was in the late 1950's....oh my gosh... I am dating myself...but I have been there hence...very nice reproduction of reality! And add the touch of an artists eye you did it well...Congrats on this one!

in few days it will be my first TN anniversary, one years ago
i would never love portrait shots of birds, but after beeing
in TN viewing beautiful shots like yours, i started to love
portrait shots, but i am not ready to do this kind
of bird shots, maybe this spring or summer

What a perfect expo, there are wonderful details in the white feather! Very good portrait pose, just as it knew you were taking the photo. Showing the eye very well, what makes this gull so beautiful is the eye's and bill's color match. Nice bokeh in the bg makes the image complete. TFS!
