[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Cifrusa bezkridla in Slovak or Pyrrhocoris apterus or in general Slovak slang "elektricky"="trams". Trams both because of their color and because the usually go connected like a tram with many wagons.

This shot was taken at our weekend house in Nahac, Western Slovakia, just under the Small Carpathians. These little things sensed a bit warmer weather and rushed outside on this stick to absorb a little warmth. The wheel in the back belongs to an old wheelbarrow.

Pyrrhocoris apterus generally mate in April and May.
Their diet consists primarily of seeds from lime trees and mallows (from Wikipedia). This corresponds with reality very well, because this photo was taken under a lime tree.
