| Yet another view of the bird. Fantails are expert insect catchers. They can turn 180 degree in flight and grab a hopping insect with lighting speed. They even use their tails to 'fan' their small and large preys from the grass. Within a few minutes I found both the male and female feeding their chicks with insects making tens of sorties. |

i have been trying to photograph one of these birds for 2 weeks now. So frustrating! Congrats on a clear photo.
Very good capture of this aptly named bird, Mukesh.
The focus on the eye is sharp.
I guess this is the usual stance the bird takes, which looks quite interesting.

Hi Mukesh,
I liked the earlier one better in terms of clarity, background and colors.
Great POV in this one. The bird is captured very well.
Something that's really not working in this one is the pole that the bird's sitting on.
