Wishful thinking, perhaps, but we hope this is the pair of Canada geese who appear on our property each spring. They walk all around the acreage, checking things out. At some point they disappear to nest. The gander, of course is always on guard. The brown grass of winter is just starting to turn to green, providing some colour after a bleak winter season. It is a muddy, but marvellous time of year as the skies are full of birds returning to the Wainfleet marsh.

Hi
Linda,
looks like the snow is melting and with it a little flooding in the fields. I bet those two love the extra water.
Nice shot, very well composed with great sharp details and nice colors.
