This is an African rock python, it’s a red list species which means that it is an endangered species and protected by law.
As a licensed snake catcher I have seen these guys quite often but it’s sad to see their numbers dwindling due to peoples lack of knowledge and disregard for this species. People often keep them as pets which is a violation of the cites agreement. |
