Habitat:Light coniferous woods, wasteland neglected meadows , in maquis and phrygana,neglected grasslands , moderately moist calcareous soils. roadside slopes and shady places in and at the edge of pine forest.

Flowering time:January to late March

Altitude distribution: From sea level to 600m.

Overall distribution:Only known Cyprus and Israel.

Distribution on Cyprus:The species is widley distributed on Cyprus.Especially in the nort and south .

I've been waiting to see those from Cyprus! I missed the blooming season of this species in Israel, where it is extremely rare.
