This is the SECOND of a two-pic sequence presenting how adders attack .
The first one can be found here http://www.treknature.com/viewphotos.php?l=3&p=160056
It is recommended to open both photos in 2 separate windows and switch between them to see the attack
The adder is attacking my brother's leg who kindly agreed to participate in this experiment.
Neither him nor the adder were injured!!!
The attack was so fast that even with the shutterspeed reaching 1/1000 the motion blur can be clearly visible. |

Hello Rafal,
Very intersting shots! The light and details are very nice, despite some blur. Not easy! But be careful and your brother too...
Best regards,
Catherine

What are brothers for eh Rafal? This is an excellent capture of this attacking Adder. With the blur we get a real sense of the speed of this snake in this attack.
Thanks, John
Good follow-up scene captured perfectly Rafal, the spring-like form of the striking adder is typical and the slight blurriness of the neck and head give a good movement effect to the take. TFS indeed!
