Oncidium Sw.
Tribe: Cymbidieae
Subtribe: Oncidiniiae
Etymology: From Greek = Onkos.
Olof Swartz, in 1800, gave this name due to the small callus situated at the base of the lip which seams to be a wart, tumor, swelling, in Greek, Onkos. |

Hi Raimundo,
Orchids are always a pleasure to look at.
You've made an excellent first plane of this oncidium, plenty of colour and textures.
Perhaps the fill flash and reflections created a flat white spot at the inner of the flower.
Well done and thanks for share.
Best regards,
JM
this photo has good depth perception with the lighting, I also like the angle, but harsh lighting washed out the highlights
