Hi all!
Been busy with uni work the last few weeks so haven't had much time to be on here.
Today, is the first "real" spring day here in Uppsala, Sweden. Sun was out and telling nature it's time to get about business.
I biked out 30 minutes to get to the place I spent my early years (0-6) growing up. It was the first time I was there since I was 6 years old and it felt VERY weird but warming. Jumping back that many years and coming back to a place you explored as a kid is a strange feeling, and emotional.
Today, 16 years later, I did some of my own exploring equipped with my newly bought 400D. =) I was sitting drinking coffee in the forest when I actually HEARD these two battling around.
The flies now are very young and some of them can't even fly yet and just buzz about on the ground. That attracts other animals, such as a spider!
They were wrestling around for a good 20 minutes before I left and I got really dirty rolling around trying to get a good shot of them, haha. But I had a great time. I also attached my 'Closeup lens 500D' on top of the 18-55 IS... don't know if it makes that much of a difference though, comments on that?
Don't know about the ID, sorry.
Hope you like it and I might upload some shots of these two soon. |
