Hello Angela
A very good POV for this beautiful Mallard hen.
I love how you captured the ripple around her.
Excellent lighting with natural colours.
Nicely composed in the frame.

You used the sunlight just perfectly. How wonderful. The light gives life to the feathers and such clarity. In its natural surroundings..A Fine image!

You have some great work here!
I'm checking out your gallery for the first time. Seems we all get caught up in certain circles and miss a lot of wonderful photographers because of it...well, maybe we all don't but I admit I do.
This is a great piece - wonderful lighting, great details, well done!!!

Hi Angela!
Shouldn't you delete the term 'learning DSLR' from your profile? You look confident enough in that already! :)
The lighting used very wisely here, with a perfect expo bringing out all details both for the duck and the water surface.
Composed perfectly to the very moment when the circles fill the frame and just ending in the corner. The little rocks also help filling the space but there's nor too much there. Very good work, TFS!
Best regards,
Andor
