| This is a Malaysian chameleon. It is not as bright s the other seen in other part of the world. But the characteristic is still the same. I just knock into it after scanning and skimming my backyard for some nature's gift. I saw this one quietly looking at me in a weird manner. |

Hello Foozi
A curious and beautiful specimen, this Malaysian chameleon. I like a lot the picture for it has a great POV, DOF and composition. The colors are great as well as the framing. Only the head lacks a bit of sharpness but so and all it is a great document.
Thank you very much for sharing.
Best regards

Hi Foozi,
Wonderful shot of this Malayasian Chameleon with very impressive sharpness and colours on its scales. The green BG provides a fine base for the subjects to stand out. I like the three water droplets too. Excellent POV and very nicely composed. Kudos.
TFS.

Foozi, another great composition, but the 125 shutter/300mm focal length is a problem. Try and focus on the eyes and allow the rest of the photo to do what ever. On the D80 - it has 11 (i think) focal points that you can change to so you can tell it to focus on the eyes rather than the head. I tend to no use this function yet - instead I focus on the eyes, turn off auto focus, reposition shot and capture the image. The little switch on the left side on the camera near the lens works well.
