Dieses Bild is so wunder schön ! Perfekte details, sogar die kleine Härschen euf dem Schmätterling sind scharf. Schöne natürliche Farben, sehr gut komponiert, einen wunderbaren Hintergrund, une der Schmätterling is auch sehr schön, mir gefällen seine farben - weiss une ein bisschen blau, une diese schöne Blume wo esr sitzt... I am very glad to watch your two new shots. Every of them is great. It is a pity that you have posted one of them as a WS. Original shot is sweet by its subject and composition. Cute butterfly on so beautiful flower is looked so naturally and as nicely. Amazing delicateness of lights and colours. Colourfulness and smoothness of the BG are superb as a main subject. Square cropping is the best choice for the image. WS demonstrates a lovely places. Superb POV and framing. Combination of close-up and landscape styles of photo are impressive at high range. What a delightful soft coloured butterfly and absolute feast to the eye. This is really a gorgeous image with lots of detail to appreciate. This butterfly is shaped perfectly and the powder blue colour is spectacular. Good framing, good lighting and focus. Great clarity applied on the details, especially the fine hair on the body and lining of the wings, and not to mention the black and white stripes on the antennas and paws. A splendid presentation. Thanks for sharing this lovely dedication, and have an enjoyable day.

Feines Bild mit zarten Farben und schöner Komposition. Ein herrlicher Gruss aus Sizilien und eine liebenswürdige Widmung an Marcello. Hi Peter

The beautiful iridescent sheen of blue on the underwings of this butterfly is just amazing. I see it was getting ready for bed time as it already had its sleeping socks on.

The flower and the insects forms an interesting combination in the subject matter that keeps the eye bound. This is especially in the way the composition was set up and in the way the BG was rendered totally OOF by the distant proximity of the plant material and the narrow range of the DOF. As usual it did not require much of an opportunity for you to 'bemagic' it into a perfect shot.

Hello Peter,
A fine title to a fine capture of the Green- underside Blue on a species of Alium.
The underside of this butterfly is well shown with good sharpness and contrasting well with the green bokeh and set in a pleasing composition. Afine tribute to Marcello.
