I wasn't quite sure what kind of bird this was until I got home and looked it up. I'm pretty sure it's a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher that I spotted up at Magee Marsh.
It is a very small bird with a very distinctive call that sounds like pzzzz pzzzz. They are another one of those little guys who seem to never sit still. (He) or (she) was constantly flitting from branch to branch.
I would have liked to have gotten a full side view, but usually when I ask a bird to turn one way or the other, they just ignore me. How rude of them!!

Hi Ron,

You did a nice photo of this tiny bird. I do appreciate that you shot the photo without frightening the bird. It is obvious the bird is looking at someting else not at you. Good image quality with good sharp details. You used very well the existing natural light rendering natural colors.

Thank you for sharing,
Cristian

Hi Ron,

Don't feel badly - I haven't met a bird yet who did what I asked him. This is a new one for me. I've not seen this cute little Gnatcatcher before. You caught him in a great pose. Nice natural colors and good details. I would have cropped more on the left side to accentuate the diagonal composition - but sometimes I tend to crop too much.

Jane

Hi Ron
Really nice capture of the Gnatcatcher. Sharp, great light and I think the pose works very well with the diagonal branch.
Regards,
Greg

Hi Ron,
What a nice little creature this is! I like its color and shape. I don't know this specie but it looks like kind of a Warbler to me. You caught a nice pose, details in good exposure and composition. I would be pleased by a photo like this one! Thanks,
Claudine

Hallo Ron
Lovely close-up with excellent details and sharpness. This is a really beautiful grey bird with delicate and fine feathers. The beak looks like the lead of a pencil point and is very delicately formed and shaped. This looks like a very fragile bird if I look at the thin matchstick Pinnochio legs. A very good-looking composition, with great focus, sharpness and framing applied. Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed looking at this tiny little thing.
Kind regards
Anna
