Hyoscyamus aureaus - Altın Ban Otu - Golden Henbane
Woody-based prennial to 1m with densley hairy stems,leaves broadly ablong and sharply,irregularly toothed;flowers in loose,initially coiled raceme,subtented by leaflike bracts to 2.5 cm long.Corolla golden yellow with a purple throat.
Flower:Feb-July.
Common on old walls,ruins and limestone cliffs.You can find it ,at Kyrenia,Famagusta,Salamis Ruins,St.Hilarion and west of Kayalar village in Cyprus.Also Crete,Aegean Island,Turkey ,Egypt and east of Iraq.

Thanks so very much, I do not deserve this. The plant is Hyoscyamus aureus. In Israel it is one of the few wild flowers growing on the ancient walls of Jerusalem. Ori
