Wonderful shot of this Weevil and I like that longish snout. Very neat and sharp image with lovely colours and perfect use of back-lighting. It seems to have camouflaged itself well. Excellent DOF, POV and composition. Kudos.

Hello Ignasi, I love the colours in this picture and this insect is absolutely amazing! And it looks small if we compare it to the hair of the plants, it is also translucid. Fantastic shot, so close and sharp, thank you Ignasi. I hope for you that you had some rain!

you present this Lixus beetle very well, in backlight and with great sharpness. The composition is interesting, the plant stem full of hairs. Maybe you could crop the thistle away that distracts from the composition.
