[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Robinson Basin is part of the Ruby Mountains in the Raggeds Wilderness west of Crested Butte. I posted a photo of part of the mountain range with a small section of this basin and ridge line the other day. This photo was taken near my campsite above Lake Irwin about 2 miles (3.2 kilometers) north of Kebler Pass and about 6 miles (9.6 kilometers) west of Crested Butte. I was at an elevation of about 10,700 feet (3272 meters) in elevation. It is quite spectacular in this area. Lake Irwin and Kebler Pass is one of the most scenic areas in Colorado and Kebler Pass is also home to one of the largest Aspen forests on Earth, I posted a photo with notes about that a couple weeks ago. I am definitely going to return to this area this summer and several summers after that photographing different areas near Crested Butte.

Outstanding shot of this beautiful basin with such lovely colours and sharp details. Beautiful view from your chosen POV and the pristine blue sky sets up a nice tone. The lush green forest and the bright sunlight gives the image a glow. Very nicely composed. Kudos.
