Hi Goldy,
well i think you've done a fine job here, especially in very bright light! DOF looks good and you have some very nice detail as well as a great pose. I know what you mean though, i prefer Landscapes but sometimes it is good to step out of the confort zone!

ahhhh brave person....You did well...and I do enjoy landscapes...my specialty, but so many fine bird images have given me a chance to expand my horizons as it did yours here today. A strange look to the tail...I have not seen that before....yet I have been seeing swallows all day...they have been bombing me as if toying with me...Very well then!

I love seeing this Swallow. This is quite a pose. His lovely colors show off nicely here and the details are good under tricky lighting conditions. The blue feathers looks so nice and glossy. Looking forward to your elephants and landscapes too.

I can't catch swallows - they are always too fast for me or too far away.
So you have done well on your last 3 photos - apart from the white dots in the eyes - they look a bit 'not right'.
The new PC is working well Goldy. I like this fellow's stand and how he is twisting around.

It almost look like there were two birds, but it's just one. Very good job, I think when you're good with photography and is patient enough, you can get better at it with time. Good one here.
