A funny name, "dead head fly" Marie, your capture perfectly displays quite a fat fly my friend, I wonder how those tiny wings carry it through the air!

this is interesting species, and it looks like a bee. I have seen some Syrphidae species, but when they usually hovering. I thought about this species it was from different group.
Well, your macro great with great sharpness and details, nice POV and composition and colors. Workshop also great. Its large eyes look very nice. thanks for sharing, best wishes
